EA SPORTS is bringing the swag with the EA VIP kits to celebrate the launch of the new version of EA SPORTS FIFA 12 due to hit stores on Tuesday, 9/27. The FIFA12 EA VIP kit is a all white high gloss box that has a net pattern routed out in the wood with a net lasered plex lid. The kit’s contents contain Beats By Dre Headphones, a custom engraved IPAD, a PSP, a PS3 version of FIFA 12, and a custom gold painted soccer ball. Only 40 were made world wide.

The Fifa 12 is undergoing a massive make over this year in terms of game play and few other changes to improve the game. So let us discuss about the few new features in Fifa 12

Impact Engine:

The most talked about feature in fifa is the new impact engine. It is said to be under development for several years now and they have finally decided that this is the right time to use the impact engine. The improvement in visuals comes with the new and advanced procedural animation system . This goes hand in hand with the new collusion physics engine which depends on the physic of the player and the forces involved. This is a really big game changer so people who are used to playing Fifa have to change their game play. The impact engine also determines the injuries of the players, it tell you how much was the impact was on the player and how long he might be out in the sidelines.

Tactical Defending:


The improvement in defending this year comes with the impact of the positioning of the defenders. In the previous versions of fifa the position of the defender does not matter and you can simply run around and tackle people. But this year you should know which defender you must choose to make a tackle, because if you choose a wrong one and he moves out of his position your opponents will have a lot of space to move in for the kill. The "secondary defender press" have been removed from Fifa12 so you cant press a button and leave the all the work to the AI, you have to do all your dirty work.

Precision Dribbling:


I hate players who dribble well and have a lot of close control. So this version of Fifa is going to be challenging for me. The improvement the dribbling system gives players more control over the ball while running fast. Close control have been improved, so this allows players to have more precise touches which helps you keep the ball closer and gives more control.
