Fifa 13 - Football Club Improved

The latest iteration of EA Sports’ FIFA series of football games will introduce a stronger version of the “EA Sports Football Club” originally introduced in FIFA 12, the publisher confirmed last week. The updated social network will “drive a deeper connection for millions of fans”, for the first time bringing an official app to iOS, as well as integrating the iOS and Android versions of the game with the network. The game’s slated for launch later this year.

“We connect fans to the heartbeat of the sport – and to each other – through EA Sports Football Club,” said EA’s Matt Bilbey. “We’ve had a transformative year operating as a live service, connecting players to real-world football events with fresh, new content, enabling them to support their favourite club, and allowing them to connect and compete with their friends. “This year with the launch of FIFA 13, we are going to reward our fans for their support.”

That includes allowing FIFA 12 players to carry their Football Club Level and XP into FIFA 13, as well as allowing them to climb 100 levels and earn Football Club Credits, with which they can unlock bonus items such as kits, special celebrations, virtual pro attribute boosts, Career Mode super scout credits, FIFA 13 Ultimate Team coin boosts, and extra matches in Head-to-Head Seasons mode from the Catalogue. They’ll also be able to share their accomplishments via Facebook.
